How do I book a bike in Capbreton?
Head to our Lokki booking platform, available 24/7. Select your electric bike (Ruff Cycles, cargo, 2-seater…), your dates and confirm online. You can also book by phone at 09 53 43 74 25 or visit us directly at the shop, 29 rue du Général de Gaulle in Capbreton.
What types of bikes do you offer for rent?
Our fleet includes designer Ruff Cycles e-bikes (Edge, Lil Loco, Buddy, Biggy), a Ritmic Jumbo cargo bike for families, a 2-seater electric bike for couples, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes and gravel bikes. We also rent longboards, surf skates and street skates.
Are helmets and locks available?
Yes, bike helmets and locks are available as an option at €2/day each. We also provide a map of cycling routes around Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse to help you plan your rides.
Where do I pick up my rental bike?
Pick-up is directly at our shop, 29 rue du Général de Gaulle in Capbreton. We are just 5 minutes by bike from Hossegor via the Boudigau canal bridge. Book online and collect your bike at your chosen time.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start of your rental. After that, the full amount is due. In case of prolonged bad weather, we are flexible and review each situation individually.
Do you repair all bike brands?
Our workshop in Capbreton repairs all brands: hybrid, mountain, road, city and electric bikes (e-bikes). From basic service (from €38) to common repairs (brake pads, brake flush), as well as full overhauls at €50.
What are your opening hours?
The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm, and Sunday from 10am to 1pm. Closed on Mondays. In peak season (July–August), we extend our hours to welcome holidaymakers. Find us at 29 rue du Général de Gaulle, 40130 Capbreton.
Do you offer group and family rates?
We offer discounted rates for longer rentals. For families, the Ritmic Jumbo cargo bike is ideal for transporting children. Exact prices by duration are available on our Lokki platform or by phone.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank cards (Visa, Mastercard), cash and online payment via Lokki. A valid ID and credit card imprint (deposit) are required when picking up equipment.
Can I rent a bike to go to Hossegor?
Absolutely! Our shop is 5 minutes by bike from Hossegor via the Boudigau canal bridge. Book online, pick up your bike at the shop and head straight to Hossegor's lake, beaches or forest. It's the best way to explore Hossegor without parking hassles.
Which cycling routes do you recommend from Capbreton?
Our favourites: the Hossegor lake loop (6 km, flat, family-friendly), the coastal path to Seignosse (12 km), the Landes forest under the pine trees (15–40 km, perfect on an e-bike), and the Vélodyssée to Bayonne or Vieux-Boucau. We'll recommend the best route based on your level and preferred duration.
